Chelsea’s new boss Guus Hiddink has revealed that he has the pass to sign players in this window and so we should brace ourselves as we expect some additions in the squad of Chelsea.
According to latest reports, Chelsea have reignited their interest in summer transfer talent Alex Telles after the agent of the player Fernando Otto revealed that the Blues have had their scout monitoring the player, per Squawka.
The Brazil left back was close to joining Chelsea in the summer but for a meagre £5 million bid that was rejected by Galatasaray. The boss of Gala wanted £10 million at that time for the player.
The 23-year-old left back then completed a season-long loan move to Inter Milan where he’s featured 11 times this season for the San Siro giant. However, he is currently tied to the Super Liga side as his contract will run till 2018.
His agent Fernando Otto has now revealed that Chelsea are still keen on the player as they have been found monitoring the player.
“Chelsea expressed an interest over the summer and have monitored him,” Otto told Ajansspor.
The Blues landed Augsburg’s Baba Rahman as a replacement for Felipe Luis, who returned to Atletico Madrid, in August, but the Express claimed that they wanted to bring in Telles as well.
A deal for Telles means Azpilicueta would be moved to the right flank permanently and Baba Rahman made to play in the left back position with tells as a back up.
