Over recent years, study have shown that Chelsea are bad with utilising the youngsters within their rank and the trend is still going on.
Chelsea are on the verge on completing a loan move for Charly Musonda junior who has been in the want of a move this month. He is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming days.
The 19-year-old has been reportedly unhappy over being left within the academy of Chelsea despite being consistently exceptional for the team. After the summer last year, he was linked with a £10m move to Manchester United and Marseille.
The Belgian youngster is set to become the 30th Blues player out on loan, via the Mail, joining the likes of Wallace, Nathan Ake and Victor Moses.
Musonda had revealed his desire to complete a loan move this term when he was quizzed last month:
“It’s now time to take the next step to continue my progression on loan and develop furthermore towards becoming one of the very best one day at Chelsea. With hard work and dedication I believe I can, and I’m very excited.”
Chelsea have hardly given opportunity to their youngsters and their poor form this season meant they will not gamble with the rest of their games.
